Commons is a specialty coffee shop. Its focus is on ensuring the highest quality specialty coffee, working with roasteries that maximize their impact on producers and farmers. We’re interested in bold flavors, under-explored regions and bringing industry-forward techniques to showcase these coffees.

We feature a rotating guest series of coffees from the best roasteries around. We've had coffees from the best roasteries in the UK and Europe, including La Cabra (Copenhagen), Barn (Berlin) and Nowhere (Italy).

Beyond Coffee

We also have ceremonial grade matcha, incredible chai made from traditional recipes, and hot chocolate from single origin cacao.

Our Shops

We have two kinds of shops. Our flagship at Old Street Works is designed for you to sit and take a while. We provide table service, fast wifi and a beautiful environment for whatever you're in the mood for.

Our express shop at Cannon Street is designed for speed. We have optimised our flow to meet busy workers on the go. There's a standing bar for people who want a private moment over their coffee, but we're designed for people on the move.
